Dream of Winter

I wasn't sure whether to submit this to Landscapes, Abstract and Surreal, Conceptual, or Darkroom...

It's a double exposure, one sharp photo and one blurred. I read about this technique ages ago (a photography magazine suggested using it for waterfalls) and I thought it could be put to interesting use here - I really liked the blurry shot (motion blur, not focus blur) but I felt it needed something else.

I worked quite hard on this picture and I know it won't be to everyone's tastes but I'm really pleased with it.
