Rat

So, after I made that headstone (which was done a few months back although only submitted a couple of days ago) I wanted to do some more wood-burning. This one was part of an #Artcrossing gift for ~were-were-wolfy, who wanted rat-themed gifts (she has lots of rats - seven, I think?).

Actually I made a bit of a silly mistake because it wasn't her I was supposed to be making a gift for, but someone else. (That's the trouble with being admin - you can see everyone's profiles and then you get confused! ) But since it was made for her I sent it to her anyway, even though she wasn't due a gift yet. And she really liked it so I obviously did the right thing

I drew in pencil first then burned onto the wood with my pyrograph (bit like a soldering iron). Reference picture [link]
