Steampunk heart necklace

#Artcrossing is my group. I founded it last year. In a nutshell: you make a little present for someone using only a short description of this person. Then you mail it off and when they've received it, then someone else will make a gift for you. You should totally join.

I have been so busy the last few months that even though I've been doing all the admin for #Artcrossing I haven't had time to participate myself. The last gift I made was in November/December.

Well anyway, I thought, time to fix that! This particular gift was for *ninakuru, who said she loved steampunk and necklaces. I've been dying to make something steampunk for ages - I bought a bunch of old watch parts on eBay a year or so ago and hadn't done anything with them up til now. So I made her this pendant, using this fabulous tutorial. I was so chuffed with how it turned out!
